Thornhill Secondary School provides students with comprehensive art courses from grades 9 to 12 as well as special series courses like photography, crafts and dramatic arts. We welcome students whether they are looking for a pathway to a career in the arts or experiencing a new means of expression. We prepare students for post-secondary art education and art-related careers. Students applying to post-secondary art programs from TSS have a high rate of acceptance. Course content includes fieldtrips, life models and visiting artists to enrich the experience. We are often get involved in community art experiences such as creating the mural at the Yonge Street Farmer’s Market.
