Code of Behaviour
Respect for oneself and for each other is a cornerstone of the behaviour expected of all members of our Ventura Park school community.  Our Ventura Park Touchstone captures the shared values we believe are important to sustain a safe and positive learning community.

Ventura Park Touchstone

Vikings discover new things.

At Ventura Park we show respect for others by sharing, caring, and giving of ourselves.

We accept people for who they are. It is not our place to judge. We are inclusive.

Everyone at our school uses appropriate language. We think before we speak.

The words we choose show kindness and caring; our actions speak louder than words.

We are kind and loyal. We are family. We are friends.

We take responsibility for ourselves, our classmates, and our world.

We cherish nature and defend our planet.

The choices we make define who we are.

A positive attitude lifts us higher.

We learn from our mistakes; failing is better than never trying.

Bullying is not welcomed here; we always feel safe.

As Vikings, we are forever on a journey.
