In order to support the Board's mission, the mission of Woodbridge P.S. is to prepare the children by providing a challenging program in a caring environment which recognizes the rich diversity of our school community.
Our Objectives:
As a staff, we believe our school exists to provide a safe, caring and high achievement environment for the children whom we serve. We believe it is our responsibility to provide each student with opportunities to:
- develop skills which will be beneficial in the life-long pursuit of knowledge;
- build a positive self-concept;
- develop life skills which promote cooperation, independence and interdependence;
- obtain a base of knowledge sufficient to appreciate Canadian life;
- develop skills in problem solving;
- encourage students to work to their full academic potential;
- receive extra help from all teachers if the student is experiencing difficulties.
