History
The name of Armitage Village Public School was derived from the first settlers to the community. The most prominent settler was Amos Armitage.
Facilities
Armitage Village P.S. was officially opened in 1991.
A child-care centre, Armitage Child Care Centre, owned and operated by Upper Canada Village Child Care is located at Armitage Village P.S. They provide both a before/after school and all day preschool program.
