Welcome to BHES! Our school is committed to continuous improvement in student achievement and well-being for all of our students, who demonstrate a love and passion for learning. Through our ongoing work as a collaborative and caring staff, we deliver inquiry based programming and experiences to support our students’ growth and development as learners. One aspect of this collaboration is our ongoing professional development for our staff to ensure that we are integrating 21st century learning skills within our classrooms, and preparing our students to be critical thinkers. We encourage our students to actively and respectfully contribute to the local and global community through their actions. We also value the contributions and support our families provide to encourage their children to become life-long learners. We welcome parents as volunteers within our school, and invite you to participate in our monthly School Council meetings and events.
An enriching school life is an important aspect of coming to school, and we provide a wide range of sports, clubs and extra-curricular activities to engage our students throughout the year. With our community partners, we also offer lunchtime and afterschool programs.
