As with each school in the York Region District School Board, Brownridge P.S. supports student learning through the curriculum standards set out by the Ontario Ministry of Education and many other co-curricular activities.
Our school
- Promotes a safe and supportive learning environment. This is done through the Board's Safe Schools Policy and Procedures and the Character Education Initiative
- Provides Special Education Programs to students through Monitoring, Resource Withdrawal, Student Support Centre and three Community Classes for students with Mild Intellectual Disabilities (Primary, Junior, Intermediate)
- English as a Second Language programs for students who require English language support
- Supports many sports and arts activities throughout the school year
- Offers a before and after school program service by the YMCA daycare on site.
