Welcome to our Guidance website. One of the goals of the Guidance Department is to prepare our students for life after high school. We provide information for all pathways, including University, College, Apprenticeship, and the workplace. We also offer support, encouragement, and resources for students throughout their high school studies.
Our
Guidance Google Classroom, which has all Guidance-related information, can be
accessed by using a YRDSB gapps account. Information about community
involvement opportunities, scholarships, universities, colleges,
apprenticeships, and much more, can be found in our Guidance Google Classroom:

Guidance and Career Education offers students, teachers, parents, and the community a variety of services and programs. The Guidance Department at our school provides support regarding the academic and personal needs of each individual student. Academic counselling may include assistance with course selection, career planning or pathway options.
Each student is unique and has individual needs that are important to them. At our school, counsellors offer individual appointments to facilitate each student's needs. We believe in guiding and challenging our students to become independent, healthy learners that consistently work at their full potential.
Students can book an appointment with their alpha counsellor below. Please see the counsellor list and booking instructions below. To reach our Guidance Secretary Mrs. Diane Jarvis, call: 905 660-1397 ext. 112
