Y.O.S.A. ~ Youth Of South Asia Club
In the spirit of promoting diversity, the Youth of South Asia (Y.O.S.A.) work actively to promote South Asian cultures within the Milliken Mills High School community. Its members are dedicated to educating peers and teachers about South Asian traditions and customs through school events, including melas, garbas, and its highly anticipated annual Year-End Show. Each event highlights the intra-diversity existing within an inclusive South Asian community.
The Youth of South Asia is proud to introduce its annual scholarship. The
Y.O.S.A. Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Milliken Mills High School student pursuing post-secondary education who shows strong South Asian community involvement and leadership.
The YOSA Scholarship Application is available online now and is due on
March 17th by 4pm.
The recipient will be awarded the scholarship at Y.O.S.A.’s Year-End show and will receive recognition of this prestigious honour at Milliken Mills High School’s Commencement Ceremony.
