Please follow the following steps when completing your volunteer hours:
1) Learn about opportunities by clicking the Virtual Opportunites tab under Community Involvement, checking the bulletin board outside the Guidance Office, joining the Guidance Google Classroom, following the Guidance Department on Instagram @stouffville_guidance.
2) Have the hours pre-approved by a member of the Guidance Department prior to volunteering to ensure they qualify as an experience that will count towards your Community Service Hours.
3) Print the attached form and have the volunteer activity supervisor complete the form. Note that 1 form can be used for up to 3 different experiences.
4) Submit your form by dropping off the completed form to the Guidance Office OR emailing a scanned copy or photo of the form to sdss.guidance@yrdsb.ca. Please remember to keep a copy of the form for your records if you choose to submit the form to the office.
**Students are able to use up to 10 hours of part-time work/helping out around the house towards their community service hours. Please complete the Community Hours Form (signed by employer or parent/guardian) as well as the SDSS Reflection Form and submit both to the guidance office or email to sdss.guidance@yrdsb.ca.
