Literacy is a significant part of our and also our School Improvement Plan. Ensuring that our learners are prepared to meet the world after high school with a solid foundation of literacy skills is the priority of this program here at S.D.H.S.
Our Literacy team has time dedicated throughout the day to visit classrooms and provide supports to both teachers and students. The Literacy team also prepares materials that will assist students with preparation for the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (O.S.S.L.T.)
