Students will have an opportunity to participate in various enrichments to their Drama experience, including;
Kinark Outdoor Education Centre
Each September all students in the Arts Unionville Drama Program travel to the Kinark Outdoor Education Centre in Minden, Ontario for a three day study tour. Students spend this time focusing on the essential elements of collaboration and building an ensemble. Students have opportunities to canoe, rock climb, try high ropes, take nature hikes, kayak and perform around a camp fire.

Performance Enrichments
Students will have opportunities to access a variety of different performance opportunities in our community and beyond including;
- Paprika Student Playwriting Festival
- Sears Drama Festival
- Canadian Improv Games
- Arts Unionville Information Session Performance
London, England
The drama department has participated in a study tour of London, England in October 2011 and planning another visit April, 2014. Students stay in the heart of London, take day trips to Stonehenge, Bath, Oxford and Stratford, all while exploring theatre history and viewing vibrant performance in the West End. Student learning is enhanced by becoming fully immersed in historical culture, drama exploration and museum visits.
New York City
The drama department has a long history of visiting New York City to stay current on exciting developments in the world of drama! Students stay in the heart of Time Square and view various Broadway and off-Broadway productions all while taking in all that NYC has to offer!
