Enrolment Capped at Unionville H.S.
Posted: 4/29/2025 2:50:55 PM

Limited spaces have opened for new 2025/26 registrations residing in the Unionville H.S. boundary for grades 9 and 10.

For the 2025-26 school year, three secondary schools have been identified to be capped due to lack of sufficient space to accommodate further enrolment growth.

On Monday, November 25, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., a link to join the ‘expression of interest’ waitlist for Non-YRDSB students will be posted.

New students will be directed to immediately register at the designated alternate secondary school(s). Proof of residency requirements and grade 8 proof of residency review has also been introduced.

STEM Application

Program Information: The STEM program at Unionville High School offers an enriching and comprehensive experience for students who have a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We believe that fostering a strong foundation in these areas will not only prepare our students for the challenges of higher education but also equip them with the skills necessary to succeed in an ever-evolving global landscape. The program is based on the 4 Cs: Courses, Clubs, Contests and Connections. More details about the 4 Cs and the requirements to earn a UHS STEM certificate are contained in the attached brochure.

Due to Unionville High School being an enrolment capped secondary school, we are currently accepting STEM program applications from families that meet all of the requirements noted below:

If all requirements are met, parents and guardians of interested students may contact their Grade 8 teacher for more information on how to apply.

Please Note: Admission to the STEM program is subject to space availability.

The application for STEM for the 2025-2026 school year has closed.  Grade 8 families interested in applying for STEM starting in grade 9 September 2026 are invited to visit this page in January 2026 for application requirements.
