Posted: 2/13/2024 3:03:23 PM

Unionville High School is pleased to announce that our application process for the UHS STEM program will open this Monday, December 18 at Noon. Due to changes to our UHS registration process for the 2024-25 school year, we are currently only accepting STEM program applications from families that meet both of the requirements noted below:

·        Live within the UHS catchment boundaries AND

·        Are currently attending a YRDSB elementary school that feeds to UHS (Buttonville, Coledale, Parkview, William Berczy).

If both of these requirements are met, parents and guardians of interested students may complete their application expressing their interest here.

For those students who do not meet the requirement of currently attending a YRDSB elementary feeder school (see above) please complete the following Expression of Interest to Participate in STEM at UHS Form.

Please note that acceptance into our STEM program will be based on remaining available space and in order of application submission.

Program Information: The STEM program at Unionville High School has been revamped to offer an enriching and comprehensive experience for students who have a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We believe that fostering a strong foundation in these areas will not only prepare our students for the challenges of higher education but also equip them with the skills necessary to succeed in an ever-evolving global landscape. The program is based on the 4 Cs: Courses, Clubs, Contests and Connections. More details about the 4 Cs and the requirements to earn a UHS STEM certificate are contained in the attached brochure.
