Science comes alive at Unionville High School!

During the semester, science students at UHS can experience a diverse variety of learning opportunities while they explore the exciting and often mysterious world of science and its applications.


Biology

Explore the stuff that life is made of in Biology where students use microscopes to study cells, dissect prepared specimens to better understand organ systems and partake in a Biotechnology Lab.

Chemistry

Examine the world of the infinitely small in Chemistry and discover how atoms and molecules interact in strange yet predictable ways. Gain insight and experience with the chemical reactions that occur silently everyday in and around our bodies.

Physics

Feel the forces of Physics through a  combination of demonstrations and hands on activities. Experience first hand the shocking principles of electricity, the application of optics, motion and light. “GRAVITY” is no downer in our classes.
 

Earth and Space

Reach into  Earth and Space and explore the wonders of the universe. Learn about the history of the earth and examine its geological principles.  Engage in discussions of parallel universes and other cosmological theories that lead you to rethink our position in the universe.
