The electronic translation service on the York Region District School Board's website is hosted by Google Translate. The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 50 languages, although an impressive number, this does not capture all languages or dialects. The basic translation’s goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material.
The York Region District School Board does not guarantee the quality, accuracy or completeness of any translated information. Before you act on translated information, the Board encourages you to confirm any facts that are important to you and affect any decisions you may make.

Mrs. Grigorova
Subjects: Grade 9 Introduction to Information and Communication Technology, Grade 10 Computer Science, Grade 11 Computer Programming, Grade 12 Computer Programming
Mrs. Grigorova possesses a prominent
background in Engineering and Mathematics. She is a graduate of Varna Technical
University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering and
Microelectronics with a specialization in Data Acquisition Systems. After
obtaining her first degree, she continued in her education by completing a
Bachelor of Education at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology,
along with a specialist qualification in Spec. Ed. Mrs. Grigorova regularly
contributes to extra-curricular programming as the advisor for both the
Programming and Engineering club. This speaks to her teaching philosophy, which
is to motivate students to learn, and in turn, make learning a fun experience.

Mrs. Rosen
Subjects: Grade 9 Introduction to Information and Communication Technology, Grade 10 Introduction to Business (Dragon's Den)
Mrs. Rosen possesses a Bachelor of Commerce from
Tam Kang University, along with a Bachelor of Education and Master of Education
from the University of Alberta. She is a DECA advisor for the Westmount C.I.
DECA Association and believes that bringing real world and relevant experiences
into the classroom is paramount, especially in the field of business. In her
classroom, students are able to gain both theoretical and practical knowledge
that they can apply in their post-secondary studies and future profession(s).
