Dear Coledale Families,

Ms. Lau and I are honoured and excited to be able to serve the Coledale PS community.  We look forward to learning and teaching together and continue to foster an environment of care and kindness where every student matters, belongs and strives to be the best version of themselves academically, socially and emotionally. 

Coledale PS has a rich history of historically providing a well-rounded educational experience for all our students. Since the school opened in September 1988, it has earned a reputation for academic excellence, community involvement, and inclusive practices. There is no doubt that we are proud of where we have come from, and we continue to focus on the bright future that lies ahead. To this end, we are continually learning, growing and improving.

Using our Coledale Mission Statement as an overarching guide to direct and support our decisions and actions for improvement, we promote high standards and high levels of achievement, exemplified by a commitment to:

• Creating inclusive spaces for all (with a focus on mental health)
• Engaging in authentic, differentiated teaching and learning opportunities for all  students in all curriculum areas (with a particular focus on mathematics, Indigenous, and Black education)
• Taking responsibility for our actions
