Parent Engagement last year was limited to virtual, but
the online cooking classes were a hit.
-
Would like to find a way to include ‘Staff
Appreciation’ in this year’s council work
7. Update
From School (Scott/Leeann)
-
Continuing to support the four main areas of Directors Annual Plan
-
We are a Village Growing Together
-
We are committed to providing a learning environment where everyone
feels safe, welcome and respected.
-
Hoping to bring back the House Teams this year. Would like to work towards the goal of
planting a Tree for each House on school property. Maybe by the outdoor
classroom.
-
Outdoor classroom has been paved in the middle of the
ring of stones. Still need a retaining
wall and some more plants. In the plans
as soon as we are able to go ahead.
-
Extra-curricular Activities are limited to Skills and
Drills at this time. No Games.

School is taking a Cautious Approach to “getting back
to normal”

Have to listen to Public Health but want to build fun
back into the school and the students’ days.

Covid Care (Scott)
-
School is taking all symptoms very seriously, if
students show any signs of sniffles, coughs etc… they are sent home
-
Holding ourselves to a higher standard than required by
Public Health.
-
For example; one day there were 37 absences, the Admin
called each family to log their symptoms and keep track of reasons for
absences.
-
Parents in the community have been very easy to deal
with and forthcoming with test results
-
Everyone is being Careful and Cautious

Students are wearing masks with no problems and
following all systems required to stay safe

-
Cars on the south side of the school at pick up and
