Welcome to Grade 12
Communications Technology (TGJ 4M). This college/university course prepares
students who wish to pursue post secondary education in the areas of Graphic
Design, Audio Engineering, and Film and Television Production.
Video productions skills are
expanded upon through the use of Davinci Resolve video editing software currently
used to edit many Hollywood blockbusters such as Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” and Deadpool 2.
Photoshop projects are also
expanded to include Video Game/DVD cover, and Movie poster creation. Audio
projects include Podcast and Movie Trailer redubbing.
Even if you do not intend to
pursue a Comm Tech related post secondary education, this course will develop
the communication skills needed for any post secondary education or career.
