During this course students will learn about common construction methods and systems used in modern construction technology.
Through out the semester, the students will be taught the proper and safe use of various construction and woodworking tools. They will also learn the safe operation of equipment and machinery such as Miter Saws, Jointers, Wood Planers, Table Saws, Band Saws, Routers and Drill Presses.
The students will learn to measure, layout, plan and build construction projects developing knowledge, skills and abilities communicated to them through their teacher and amonst their peers.
