One-to-One Digital Technology Program
The pace and speed of change demands constant deconstruction and reconstruction of teaching and learning techniques in our classrooms.  With new transformative tools like Google Apps changing the way we meet, collaborate, share information and work together, it is essential that we harness this potential in our classrooms.

In the 2013-14 school year, Markville Secondary School started a unique student technology program that required all incoming grade 9's to bring in their own wifi enabled technological device to use in class.  As of August 2016, all our students will take part in this program.

Our School has partnered with Dell.  Each teacher has been equipped with a Dell tablet and training to help implement the 1:1 Program and to improve student learning through the use of technology from grades 9 to 12.  Our goal is to continue to provide an environment allowing students to move from being consumers OF technology to creators WITH technology.  We are excited to share this journey with you.
