Principal's Message

Welcome to Nobleton P.S. At our school, we believe in setting high expectations for our students and believe that all students can learn and be successful given the instruction, time and support they need. We understand that a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy skills is critical for our students, and we endeavour to provide strong academic programs, focusing on inquiry and critical thinking skills. We value all areas of the program, including athletics and the arts. Students are encouraged to learn and strive to achieve excellence throughout their journey of learning at Nobleton P.S.

We believe that there is an important link between character development and student achievement.  Strong partnerships, with parents, students and teachers working together, are critical to student success.  We are committed to ensuring that our students come to school every day ready to learn in a safe and supportive environment that promotes mutual respect and responsibility.
Our school recognizes the importance of developing a positive school climate and spirit, providing opportunities for students to participate in the life of the school, to develop leadership skills, and to be contributing members of our school community.
We also value the importance of our whole school community joining together to develop safe and healthy relationships.  We are continuing to educate the students about bullying behaviour and how they can help prevent it.  The philosophy of restorative practice (RAYS) is embedded in our efforts, as well as approaches from “Tribes” to build inclusion and cooperation within our classrooms and school community. We value and instill the Tribes agreements “showing mutual respect, attentive listening, showing appreciation (no put downs) and participating (right to pass). Together, we are working to create a community of lifelong learners and ensure that our students achieve personal, social and academic success.
We encourage parents to be active in their child’s education, and communication is the key to the process.  Please feel free to call the school with any questions or comments.
We are looking forward to a great year!

Walk into this school with a positive attitude, and leave with the greatest gift of all .... knowledge.
