I am delighted to be part of this unique and amazing school community and I look forward to continuing to get to know you, your children and the staff, partnering to achieve high standards, while “empowering all our students to become engaged and caring citizens of the world”.  Ross Doan PS is a school dedicated to ensuring that everyone is respected, matters and belongs. We are firmly committed to ensuring safety, well-being and academic achievement! 

Our staff is invested in each student’s learning and social-emotional well-being and they are driven by the goals of our School Improvement Plan, which align with our Board Plan. Some of these goals include fostering and nurturing a learning environment that is inclusive, providing strong Math and Literacy programs that reflect students’ identities, needs and interests and fostering a culture of caring that embraces and supports Well-Being and positive Mental Health. We strive to design programs that are innovative in their approach and we create learning environments that promote collaboration and critical thinking to solve problems and make positive decisions.

We work closely with our School Council committed to serving our school community and to providing a wide variety of opportunities that will engage your children in many ways.  We share a great common interest – your children!  When we work together, all of our students experience success.
