to Friday 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Lending Procedures
- To
borrow library materials, students should show their student cards.
- The
loan period for most library items is 3 weeks.
- Most items may be renewed. Students may renew an item even if the item is not present.
Computers
The
Library offers 25 networked computers for student use on a first-come, first
served basis. Computers are prioritized for schoolwork.
Computers may be reserved by teacher-librarians for classes booked into the
Library for research projects. In such cases, there may be limited computer
availability for itinerant students.
Printer / Photocopier
At the beginning of each semester, students are given a credit of $2.00 in their print accounts. This is equal to 90 black-and-white prints. Students who require additional print credit may refill their print
accounts at a coin-operated kiosk in the Library.
Seminar Rooms
Two
seminar rooms (The Think Tank and Meeting of the Minds) are available to be booked out by staff and
students. To book, please speak to library staff at the circulation desk.
Expectations
The
following rules and expectations are in place to ensure a quiet, clean and
comfortable workspace for students and staff.

Students may use the Library during lunch, study hall and/or with teacher
permission during class.
- Students are encouraged to read, study, conduct research, collaborate
on projects and/or
complete homework in the Library. Please socialize in the halls or the cafeteria.
- The
Quiet Zone is reserved for students wishing to study individually and quietly.
- Please use the rectangular and circular tables for collaborative work.
- Please
be considerate of others when talking and working in the Library.
- No food
or drink (except water) is to be consumed in the Library.
