The library at Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School has a rich collection of resources to help students with projects in both English and French. During the school day, classes visit the library for resource-based learning experiences created and facilitated by both the classroom teacher and the teacher-librarian.

The library also welcomes students on their lunch or spare to use the space for quiet study or collaborative learning.

Our mission is to provide a place where every student sees themselves as active participants in their learning, where every student has agency in the knowledge they build.

While the library offers 25 networked computers to allow for student access to electronic resources, books and other print materials are available for in-library use and student loan.

Besides helping students make sense of the immense amount of information available and helping them to develop the strong research skills necessary for academic success in the twenty-first century, the library program engages students as creators through maker-space activities and writing workshops. The library program also encourages the joy of reading.
