Dear Visitors to our Woodbridge College website:

Woodbridge College is a special learning community – we are small in size, and mighty in presence!

Our school serves a diverse community and offers programming opportunities to support our students in the many post-secondary pathways they are interested in.  We offer a wide range of courses in the Sciences, Mathematics, Languages, Arts, Social Science and Humanities, Healthy Active Living, Technology, and Community Based Education.  In addition to this, we also offer a variety of specialty programs, including French Immersion programming; Specialist High Skills Major programs in Arts and Culture, Business, and Health and Wellness; Personalized Alternative Education; Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Programs; and Advanced Placement courses in Biology, Physics and Economics.

Our dedicated and caring staff provides an environment for learning that is inclusive and supportive, where the contributions of all students are welcomed.  We strive to help our students to become open-minded individuals who will help to make a positive difference in our world.  Supporting students to reach their greatest potential means more than just offering the rigorous academic program that we do. Woodbridge College offers a variety of co-curricular activities and opportunities to help students learn about themselves, and introduce them to new opportunities and ideas.

Woodbridge College prides itself on being a 21st-century learning community.  Here, students are challenged to develop critical thinking skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.  To this end, we are a 1:1 computing school.  This means that all students have their own learning device (laptop, Chromebook or tablet) for use at school, and we engage our students through a blended learning model.  There are many benefits to this 21st-century approach to learning, including the increased engagement of our students, the promotion of literacy through technology, increased opportunities for differentiated learning and assessment, enhanced opportunities for collaboration, and preparation for our modern learners to more seamlessly integrate into post-secondary destinations.

At Woodbridge College, we are committed to open and clear communication with our family community.  This website is only one of the tools we use to communicate with our school community.  Each Friday, we also send home a community bulletin that highlights what has occurred during the week and provides families with information they should be aware of.  You can also stay up-to-date with our school, and learn a lot about the great opportunities our school offers and participates in, by following us on Twitter @WC_YRDSB, or on Instagram @woodbridgecollege.  If you have questions that are not addressed through this website or through our social media accounts, please contact the school directly by phone at 905-851-2843, or through email at woodbridge.college@yrdsb.ca.
