Information for the 2025-2026 school year will be available in September/October 2025.

2025-2026 Application Eligibility for Bayview Secondary's IB Programme

• Live in York Region within Bayview's IB catchment area at time of application (We cannot accept applications form outside of the area, this includes families who are planning to move into the area in future).

• Be a student currently in Grade 8

• Additional requirments will be shared in the fall of 2025

Registration Notes: 

 

The York Region District School Board IB Programme application is completed centrally for all York Region IB Schools through the EDSBY platform. The central application is for offerings at Alexander Mackenzie High School, Bayview Secondary School, Dr. G.W. Williams Secondary School, Maple High School and Milliken Mills High School. 

 

During the application process, the YRDSB IB School serving your home address will be identified. Regrettably, we are not able to consider applicants who live outside of Bayview's IB boundaries.

We are not able to accept late applications.

​We do not recommend any special preparation or study for the admissions assessment.

Students who are in grade 9 or 10 and who are interested in the IB Programme, are encourage to reach out to the IB Coordinator.
