Personalized Alternative Education at Keswick High School aims to provide individualized programming designed to assist student learning and achievement.
Our programs are targeted to students who are having challenges with the traditional design of school. Through a variety of strategies, including modified timetables, smaller class sizes, alternative learning environments, and additional support from staff and school resources, students are provided with a structure that meets their learning needs.
Our Quadmester program divides the school year into 4 quads. A quad is similar to a regular semester but students focus on 2 courses a day for approximately 9 weeks. Our Alternative Learning Experiential Program (ALEP) program involves classroom instruction and community-based learning through paid or unpaid work placements.
Both of these programs are offered at our off-site location at 204 Simcoe Avenue in Keswick.
