January 8, 2024
Hello, Milliken!
I would like to welcome
everyone back from the Winter Break and wish everyone a happy new year.
The changing of the calendar
is the perfect opportunity for us to reflect on what we have learned and
accomplished over the past year. We can
continue to further understand others and ourselves through respectful,
responsible and compassionate interactions.
The new year is also an occasion for us to resolve to make wiser
choices, develop better habits, or improve our community. Whether through a resolution or through a
renewed sense of optimism, I’d like to ask everyone to put their best foot
forward.
In January, classes are finishing
their final units, conducting final evaluations, and administering exams. This is the time to make sure you have
completed and submitted all of your assignments and to reach out to your
teachers for extra help.
Approach the end of the semester,
the new year and any challenges you face by maintaining a positive attitude, staying
focused on completing your course work, helping to keep everyone and yourself well,
and always doing your best.
Remember, Milliken, with
determination, effort and a positive attitude, 2024 can be a great year.
