Black Business and Professional Association
Nomination from school required.
Based on good academic record, financial need, involvement in Black Community: Youth leader, scholar, athlete.

Markham African Caribbean Association
Awards given to students of West Indian or African heritage
Rising Stars- for students who have overcome personal or academic obstacles and Young Entrepreneurs- for students pursuing a career in business world.
Must have a B+ average and community involvement.

Jean Lumb Awards
The 19th Annual Jean Lumb Awards will be given to five outstanding young people who have achieved excellence in, Academics, Athletics, The Arts, Community Services, and Innovation.
Applicants must be:
- Enrolled in any grade in any high school in the Greater Toronto area
- Of Chinese heritage
- Canadian citizen or landed immigrant
Students who feel that they have overcome challenges or hardships are particularly encouraged to apply

The La Rocca Bursary Program                                                                                                                   
​The program honours the memory of Carabiniere (Police Officer) Alberto La Rocca by publicly recognizing youth for their outstanding and extraordinary acts in the community, awarded to youth who demonstrate the principles of altruism, service and life.
