History

Bayview S.S. is named after the street that it is located on, Bayview Avenue. Bayview Secondary School is located on a fifteen-acre site formerly a part of the Elliot farm. Classes commenced on November 14, 1960.

Our school motto is:    "A Diverse Community Learning Together".
Our school mascot is:  "Bengal Tiger".

Facilities

Bayview S.S. was officially opened in 1960.  Additions were placed on the original school in 1962/65.  Since that time renovations have been made to facilitate program and student needs as well as an outdoor improvement plan known as "Beautifying Bayview".
