GENERAL AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: The goals and aims of this course are concurrent with those set in the Ontario Curriculum Grades 11 and 12, 2008.
 
The level of study is directed at developing practical and quantitative research tools in the students who may or may not be preparing for post-secondary education at University.  With these objectives in mind the course of study and sequential course outline were designed.
 
TEACHING STRATEGIES:  Instructional methods will include library research, interactive simulations, computer simulations, moodles, laboratory activities, multi-media analysis, inductive and deductive learning, group work and student directed study.
 
EXPECTATIONS:
Students will be expected to:
Interact harmoniously with each other and the environment (respect)
Be punctual, and be prepared
Complete assignments/evaluations on time
Strive to maintain good citizenship
Display a level of maturity that is compatible with the level of the course
