Empower. Engage. Educate. The BHSS Science Department prides itself on
supporting all students as they discover new things in the fields of biology,
chemistry, physics and earth and space science. Students will have
opportunities to participate in many engaging hands-on activities like making
ice cream, case study analysis of human disorders and building electrical
circuits. Students also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of
immersive learning experiences such as excursions to Sunnybrook Health
Sciences, The Kortright Centre for Conservation and the Ontario Science Centre.
Students can put their knowledge into action at the Outdoor Star Gazing Night,
York Region Sci-Tech Fair and the Michael Smith Science Challenge.
