Technological Studies at Bill Hogarth S.S. offers a wide
range of broad-based technology programs. These activity based courses
emphasize problem solving to meet challenges in a wide range of areas,
including Technological Design and Woodworking, Communications, Construction,
and Transportation. We have fully-equipped workshops and computer labs
that are outfitted with industry standard tools and equipment. Technological studies courses provide students
with a variety of learning experiences that focus on the practical application
of the first principles of engineering, architecture, design, and the skilled
trades. These are project-based, hands-on courses that appeal to all
learning styles and student pathways. Whether students are planning to pursue
tech-related fields post-secondary, or if they are keen on exploring their
personal interests and developing their skills, technological studies has
something for everyone.
